Intex aims at optimizing the productivity
BELGIAN SOFTWARE FOR TEXTILES AND CARPET SECTOR
“Intex aims at optimizing the productivity of textiles companies and to allow cost control. This is realized by gathering the automatic handling of logistics, administrative and financial business processes into one information and management platform on company scale. Intex lets the companies work more efficient, faster and more flexible.”
As a Belgian software company, Inside Communications develops three tailor-made packages: Intex for the textiles sector, Intex for the carpet sector and Intex for the garment sector. Recently the company invested in Turkish market with a brand new office in Istanbul which improved the value. The managing directors of Inside Communications Jan De Veene and Jackie Van De Maele go in to more details about Intex.
Intex aims at optimizing the productivity of textiles companies and to allow cost control. This is realized by gathering the automatic handling of logistics, administrative and financial business processes into one information and management platform on company scale.
“By applying Intex, customers make their companies more efficient, faster and more flexible. The lead time of orders is increased by using the Intex software. The companies are more customer directed. Stock costs decreases and the customer service increases.” adds Jackie Van De Maele.
Steering of automation
The engineering department is responsible for links with external partners. The full integration of software and textile machinery is one of the biggest advantages to other competitors. Those partners give an answer for the automation on the shop floor, while Inside Communications takes care of the steering of the shop floor. Recently, the company installed an automation project in a company, where – after the weaving of the carpets – all further handling runs automatically, namely the cutting, finishing, labeling, treating, rolling, packing and optimal stocking in the warehouse.
Carried away abroad
On demand by customers and partners, Inside Communications follows towards foreign countries. Recently the company established an investment by opening an office in Istanbul. With this new investment, the company is expecting to enter the Turkish market. As a Belgian company, Inside Communications has a long experience in the textile sector and can offer their customers a comprehensive assistance in terms of control and management of sales, inventories, production capacities, planning, production orders, work in process, raw materials and labeling. “Our new investment in Istanbul will also allow us to support the local companies because software is no longer a box but a partnership we build between the customer and Inside.” says Jan De Veene.
