The leading Turkish ceramic tile manufacturer Vitra Karo, offers a wide range of professional products for industrial and commercial use. The company has two main categories of products, Vitra Rezidans and Vitra Arkitekt, that vary in size from 2.5x2.5 to 60x120 cm. Vitra Rezidans is a range of aesthetic indoor and outdoor tiles for living areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, terraces and gardens. Vitra Arkitekt provides professional tiles mainly for industrial and commercial areas such as shopping malls, airports and offices.

Besides its wide range of tile series for indoor and outdoor use, Vitra Karo develops special collections jointly with international designers such as Ross Lovegrove, Defne Koz, Catherine Delcourt and NOA. Addicted to innovation, Vitra Karo presents approximately 30 new series to the market per year including glass border, mosaics, decorative tile series with cut borders, new porcelain tiles in favor of every taste. Providing solutions in respect of floor tiles for architectural demands, Vitra Karo supplied special tiles for the swimming pools of Queen Mary II, the largest ship in the world. The company also completed the external cladding of Danish tv building with Vitra products.

Today Vitra Karo creates special and original collections both for the domestic market and overseas and becomes a world brand. In order to achieve such an accomplishment, the company anaylizes the tastes of each export region. The textile and interior design trends of the year are also taken into account.

Distribution network and marketing activities

Vitra Karo considers the Middle East as an important, strategic market. In addition to this, the company has a production plant in Ireland, and several suppliers in Germany, United Kingdom, Russia, USA, Canada and Scandinavia. Vitra Karo, a member of the Eczacýbaþý building materials division, manufactures and markets under the Vitra brand since 1991. Today Vitra Karo ranks among the top ceramic tile producers in Europe. In order to strengthen its proficiency and become a global brand, the company developed investments and partnerships in international arena. In recent years,Vitra Karo acquired Engers Keramik Gmbh, a German ceramic tile manufacturer, and in 2007 the company acquired 51% share of Villeroy&Boch.
